A long awaited 250 million pound redevelopment of the Broadmarsh area in Nottingham, which was funded through the Government’s Transforming Cities Fund. It includes a new city car park, bus station and central library as well as improving the local infrastructure network.
The air-handling unit support frame was supplied via Michael Pavis Limited in Nottingham, who are the largest independent Plumbing & Heating merchant in the Midlands. The FLEXI ‘heavy duty modular flexi-frame’ was designed to manage the imposed sectional loads of this air handling unit, which was to be craned into position on the day. Prior to delivery, DiversiTech prepared full working drawing proposals of our solution which demonstrated the method of support, whilst also including necessary global load and foot pressure calculations.
All frameworks are height adjustable via the M24 adjuster legs to compensate for drainage falls, and cross bars can be rapidly placed onto the frame end bars by simply dropping them on from above, providing a very fast assembly. Available from stock on a 2-3 day lead-time. Steelwork is hot dip galvanised for durability and is manufactured to EN 1090-1:2009+A1:2011, Part 1.
